Adult Outpatient Services

Adult Outpatient services are available for adults eighteen years or older, and their families, who are experiencing severe and persistent symptoms of mental illness. Individuals whose primary symptoms or diagnosis indicate chemical dependence, intellectual disability, or organic brain syndromes will likely be referred to a more appropriate service provider. Services are available to our clients from a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including a supervising psychiatrist. The Adult Outpatient program adheres to all policies and procedures of both Tri-County Community Mental Health and the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

Assessing Your Needs

Comprehensive assessments are completed on all new clients. The assessment process identifies presenting problems, history of treatment, urgent needs, expectations, strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences of the person served in a respectful and considerate manner. Nursing services and psychiatric evaluations are available to all Center clients.

The Treatment Plan Process

Clients work with clinicians to develop a person-centered plans of care (POC) incorporating the client’s strengths, needs, abilities, preferences and goals for treatment. Services are planned to address needs and meet goals with quantitative, time limited, goal oriented objectives.
